STEP 3: Select your operating system, then click “Download latest Bridge.” Once your download has completed an installation window will pop up. Follow the instruction provided by Trezor through installation.
STEP 4: Go back to the browser and refresh the page. Click “Install firmware”. As the firmware is installing, reconnect your Trezor to your computer.
Step 5: Click (Create new). You should see a pop up saying that “your trezor is ready.” Then click the (Continue to the wallet) button.
Step 6: Click (Create a backup in 3 minutes). Review the information provided, then check the box next to “ I understand and I agree,” and click (continue).
* Creating a back up allows you to retrieve your coins if your Trezor breaks, is stolen or lost. Anyone with access to your recovery/ back up phrases can access your funds. Only write down the phrases on paper and keep in a safe place *
Step 7: Write down each of the 24 recovery phrases, which will now be shown to you on your trezor. You may use the recovery seed card which came with your trezor or any piece of paper.
Step 8: Please verify the 24 recovery phrases on your Trezor then click (continue).
Step 9a: Click (Continue) on the “Why should you name your device?” screen.
Step 9b: 1. Type in a name for your device and click “Confrim to continue”. 2. Go to your device and confirm the name change. 3. Click “Continue” to proceed.
Step 10: Enter a 9 digit PIN on the web, using your Trezor device as a reference. Re-enter the new PIN after to confirm and then click (continue).
Step 11: To deposit BTC: Go to “Wallet”, “Receive”, and Click “Show full address”. Trezor will ask for your pin, use the number guide on your Trezor device and enter pin on the computer. Once pin is enter, full BTC address will display on both computer screen and Trezor device.
STEP 12: Log into Coinbase or where ever you are holding your cryptocurrency and input the deposit address to send as much of the currency of your choice to your Trezor. From Coinbase you may click accounts and then send to pull up the below screen.
Congratulations! You have now successfully set up your device and put BTC into your Trezor wallet.
To add other coins into your Trezor wallet, click the coin drop down menu and you will see the coins you can deposit into your wallet. For example: Click on “ETH” and a window will pop up for the instructions to do so.
