How to Setup and Use the Ledger Nano S in 10 Easy Steps

STEP 1+2: Choose a PIN code, write down the code, and then confirm the PIN code you chose
** It would be most secure to record your PIN code on a sheet of paper and not anywhere with access to online. The device is controlled with the two buttons on top. You can press select/enter by pressing both buttons at once **
STEP 3: Write the 24 recovery words that will be displayed one word at a time.
STEP 4: Confirm your recovery phrase by matching words to the numbers from the previous step. (ex. Word #1 is winner. see below)
** It would be most secure to record your recovery phrase words on a sheet of paper and not anywhere with access to online. The ledger will come with a card numbered 1-24 **
STEP 5: Go to google and download the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin app (or Ledger Wallet Ethereum to make Ethereum transactions)
STEP 6: Open the Ledger Wallet app and select bitcoin on your nano ledger.
STEP 7: Select bitcoin on the Ledger wallet app, then select Segwit (the latest version of bitcoin) as your address type.
STEP 8: Press “RECEIVE” at the top of the page to get your bitcoin deposit address. Copy your Bitcoin deposit address and then head over to where ever you have your bitcoin (coinbase or another exchange/ wallet).
STEP 9: Log into where ever you are holding your cryptocurrency and input the deposit address in the Recipient field to send as much of the currency of your choice to Binance. From Coinbase you may click accounts and then send to pull up the below screen.
IMPORTANT: (Each Cryptocurrency must be sent to the same type of cryptocurrency deposit address. Example: Bitcoin must be sent to a bitcoin deposit address and Ether must be sent to an Ether deposit address. MAKE SURE THE ADDRESS IS CORRECT OR ELSE YOUR FUNDS MAY BE LOST UPON SENDING!!)

STEP 10: Verify that you received the cryptocurrency. ( make sure to keep your PIN and Recovery Phrase Words PRIVATE!!! )
